Chipotle Pulled Pork

This is a simple but super tasty pulled pork recipe which can work in sliders, burritios or tacos.


  • 1 pork shoulder
  • 2 cups orange juice
  • 2 onions quartered
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 3 tbsp Alderson’s Chipotle Sauce


  1. Place the pork shoulder in a slow cooker fat side up
  2. Add all other ingredients to the pot, sprinkling salt and pepper evenly over the meat
  3. Cook on low for 8 hours
  4. Remove the meat and shred with forks keeping the juice separate
  5. Heat a pan and add a little oil before frying the meat until browned
  6. Once the meat browned, tip a potion of the juice on meat and reduce the liquid before serving
