Chipotle Pulled Pork
This is a simple but super tasty pulled pork recipe which can work in sliders, burritios or tacos.
Ingredients
- 1 pork shoulder
- 2 cups orange juice
- 2 onions quartered
- 1 tbsp salt
- 2 tsp black pepper
- 3 tbsp Alderson’s Chipotle Sauce
Directions
- Place the pork shoulder in a slow cooker fat side up
- Add all other ingredients to the pot, sprinkling salt and pepper evenly over the meat
- Cook on low for 8 hours
- Remove the meat and shred with forks keeping the juice separate
- Heat a pan and add a little oil before frying the meat until browned
- Once the meat browned, tip a potion of the juice on meat and reduce the liquid before serving
